Shield catch Ultra trap
Shield catch Ultra trap
- Mosquitoes are attracted to human breath – its warmth, smell and carbon dioxide.
- Shield Catch Ultra Trap lures mosquitoes by emitting warm carbon dioxide, simulating human breath.
- A proprietary chemical attractant is released along with CO₂ that mimics human body odor, enhancing the attraction and guiding mosquitoes to the trap.
- Mosquitoes enter the trap through multiple inlet openings on all sides of the machine head, following the airflow and scent plume.
- Once inside, mosquitoes are guided to the collection chamber where they are captured in the collection net.
- The trapped mosquitoes are isolated from the external environment and dehydrate, dying within approximately 24 hours.
Product Components
Machine Head
Contains the core system that warms and releases CO₂ and chemical attractant. It also manages airflow and captures mosquitoes into the collection chamber.
Mosquito Collecting Net
Inside the machine head, mosquitoes are captured in the collection net and prevented from escaping.
CO₂ Emission
Controlled release of CO₂ from the machine head supports mosquito attraction.
Cylinder with Foodgrade CO₂
High-purity foodgrade CO₂ is stored in the cylinder and released in a controlled manner to simulate human breath.
Mosquito Entrance
Mosquitoes are attracted to warm CO₂ and chemical attractant and enter through multiple inlet openings on all sides of the machine head.
Power Cable
Electrical power connection for continuous operation of the trap.
